Frequently Asked Questions | Human Hair Wigs
Orders and shipping
How long does delivery take?
We ship tracked from our warehouse. Processing takes 1–7 business days depending on the style — braided wigs take 2–3 days because they're hand-braided, everything else is faster. Transit is 3–10 business days depending on destination. You'll get a tracking number by email.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, and shipping is free on every order, tracked, with no minimum order. We ship to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, EU and most other destinations.
Do you pay duties or import taxes?
Orders shipped within the US are free of duties. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes set by your country, which is not something we control or collect. If you need a specific commercial invoice for customs, tell us before ordering and we'll send one.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Usually yes, if it hasn't entered production. Email us within a few hours and we'll do what we can. Once a braided unit has been started, it can't be changed.
Returns and exchanges
What is your return policy?
30 days on unused hair. The hair must be uncut, undyed, unstyled and uninstalled. We cannot accept installed hair for hygiene reasons — this is standard across the industry, not our own rule.
What if my cap doesn't fit?
Measure before you order using our cap size guide, and we'll also make a custom size for you at no extra charge if you need one. If it's still wrong, unused hair is returnable — see our full return policy.
Do you refund shipping on returns?
Original shipping is not refunded. Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover it.
Product questions
Is your hair really 100% human hair?
Yes on every product marked 100% human hair. We state the composition plainly on each product page, and our 36-inch knotless box braid lace front is synthetic braiding hair — it's clearly labelled as such.
Can I dye, bleach or heat-style the wig?
Yes, all of it. It's real human hair. Two rules: use a heat protectant and stay at or below 180°C / 350°F, and dye before the first install if you plan to dye at all. We recommend a professional for bleaching.
Will the colour fade?
Our coloured wigs are made with properly processed hair where the cuticle has been removed or sealed, so the colour bonds to the inner layer of the hair and holds through repeated washes. Cheaply dyed wigs lose tone in a few washes — that's the main quality difference between them and ours.
How do I tell real hair from synthetic?
The burn test is definitive: real hair smells like burning feathers and leaves a burnt-hair residue; synthetic melts into a plastic bead. But don't burn your wig. Look instead at the cuticle — real hair has a slightly uneven, layered texture you can see when you run your fingers along a strand. And check the price: 100% human hair wigs under $50 are not 100% human hair.
Will it shed?
All human hair wigs shed a little, especially in the first few wears. Our hand-tied lace fronts shed less than machine-made units. We have a detangling guide that cuts shedding substantially.
Install and fit
What cap size should I order?
Measure your head circumference just above the ears and across the forehead. 54–58 cm is our average and fits most people. Below 54 cm, go small; above 58 cm, go large. We also make custom sizes free — here's how to measure.
Can I wear a lace front without glue?
Yes. Every 13x4 and 13x1 lace front we make can be worn glueless — just skip the adhesive. On textured hair the combs hold well; on fine hair add a wig grip band. Our install guide walks through it step by step.
Do you make high ponytails?
Only on full lace and half lace constructions, because a standard front lace is wefted around the back of the head. See our braided wigs for full lace styles.
Care
How do I wash a human hair wig?
Soak in cool water, apply diluted shampoo, rinse without rubbing, condition the ends, and air-dry on a mannequin head. Never brush dry curls. Our full care guide has the routine for every texture we make.
How do I store it?
On a mannequin head or wig stand, in a breathable bag or a silk scarf — never in a sealed plastic bag, and never folded. Storage guide.
How long will it last?
With regular care, 12–18 months in good condition. Higher densities tend to last slightly longer because there's less tension on the hairline. You can extend this with heat protectant, cool-water washing, and minimal dye.
Wholesale and bulk
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes — salons, braiders, and online wig brands. Ask us about wholesale and bulk orders. There is no minimum on single units, but bulk pricing is significantly better.
